In 2025, I made the intentional decision to step away from photography. It was a personal pause I needed and fully stood by, but I'll openly admit that it didn't last long. Just six months later, I picked up my camera again with a renewed sense of purpose, ready to return to portraits, but with a few clear and immediate changes.
While I have truly enjoyed photographing a variety of genres across Charlotte and surrounding areas, there is an undeniable fulfillment that comes from working with high school juniors and seniors. This year is so much more than a prom and graduation; it is a pivotal season of individual growth, confidence, self-discovery, and transition. Stepping back gave me the clarity to realize that celebrating the youth, at this exact moment, isn't just something I enjoy; I believe it's what I am meant to do.

I was nervous that my daughter would be too shy to complete the shoot, but Marcella had it covered. It was like taking pictures with her "Auntie".
While I choose to keep my business off the feed, I believe you should have full autonomy over your own images. Your milestone belongs to you, not an algorithm. You are always 100% free to post, share, and celebrate your final gallery on your own social platforms exactly how and when you want.
Instead of creating captions and allowing the world free access to the images you pay for, I focus entirely on you. I pour my time into building professional relationships, planning bold sessions, and delivering a true "fine-dining" photography experience.
You won't find me actively on social media. When I started my business six years ago, I spent countless hours managing Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Eventually, I made a conscious decision to step away from those platforms to protect my peace and my creative focus, and I boldly admit I don't regret it.
We live in a digital world, but a milestone this precious shouldn't live solely on a device's hard drive or cloud server. Electronic screens crack and USB drives disappear. But, heirloom keepsakes, like professionally mounted prints and custom albums, don't require a charger or an app update. They are timeless pieces for your home.
