In 2025, I made a decision to step away from photography. It was a personal decision that I stood by, but not one that lasted very long. Just six months later, I decided to return to my happy place—but not without making a few changes first.

While I truly enjoy photographing different genres, there's an undeniable excitement in capturing high school seniors. This milestone year isn't just a graduation; it’s a pivotal moment of discovery, confidence, and celebration. This time around, my camera lens will exclusively focus on photographing the authenticity of those celebrating their senior year and designing custom-tailored experiences that allow every senior to leave their signature mark.

I was nervous that my daughter would be too shy to complete the shoot, but Marcella had it covered. It was like taking pictures with her "Auntie".

When I decided to return to photos I knew what changes I wanted to put in place. So I put in the work required to shift my business from a 'drive-thru' style to a 'fine-dining' experience. I understand that we live in a digital world, but a milestone as precious as senior year shouldn't live solely on a hard drive or a cloud server. This is why I’ve chosen a boutique approach that prioritizes physical products over digital dumps.

Electronic screens crack, USB drives disappear and platforms change, but heirloom keepsakes—such as a professionally crafted album or high-end framed wall art—don't require a charger, a password, or an app update. They are timeless pieces for your home that will look just as beautiful decades from now as they do the moment you receive them.

You won't find me on social media. I know that sounds crazy, but let me explain. When I started my business six years ago, I was on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, spending way more time managing and curating those platforms than I spent focusing on my clients. I eventually made a conscious decision to step away from all social media platforms - entirely; both personally and professionally, and I must say - I do not regret it.

Now, instead of chasing algorithms, creating captions, and allowing the world free access to images my clients invested in, I focus on building professional relationships, planning great sessions, and designing tangible products that my senior clients, and their families, will cherish for years to come.
